COCO ROSA - my precious confessions

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich mich der schönen Chantal von COCO ROSA gewidmet und mit ihr ein Interview gemacht, hier seht ihr was dabei rausgekommen ist.

1. What five fashion musts are you currently obsessed with ?
 
1.my first must is a big fur flappy hat, I call it a flappy hat but my
friends call it a Russian hat, its maybe more clear than "flappy hat",
lol :) I havn't been able to find one yet :(
2. tights! heart printed, leopard, two-tone, colored, embellished,
floral, you name it :) I'm really big on legwear right now :)
3. floral dresses, I really love floral dresses for winter, for me it
gives a nice contrast!!
4. Fur coats, fake fur or vintage, these days the quality of fake fur
is really good, I have collected a lot of vintage furs (mostly from my
grandmother) but otherwise I would have bought fake furs.
5. Hoofs!! I really love wedges, my favs right now are the black pixie
wedge booties with the zipper in the back.
6. Head Gear, I just ordered from topshop a bunnyears headband (sooooo
wrong I know :) and a big flower headband.

2. How would you describe your style?  
hmmmmm, Its hard for me to say, I really wear what I like and that can
be everything, mostly its something romantic/girly with for example
rough boots, I really like to play with mixing and matching.

 3. What are your interests beyond fashion?

I really love Photography, Illustrating/drawing, Art, Architecture, Traveling!!
 

5. What is your biggest dream for the future?

I hope that I really can be independent with freelancing or have my
own company and travel a lot!! Of course I'm a designer but I'm really
into styling and photography a lot!

6. If you had the chance with your life to start something completely
different, what would you do? 

  hahaha I always wanted to be a park ranger in Africa protecting wildlife..

7.I've heard you're a fashion designer, can we buy from you self-design

clothing?

 eeeek you know, I'm really not a organized person and not a
business person at all, I sometimes do think about starting my own
label and store but I would really want to do it together with
someone! but.... I recently was invited by a London Label to co-design
shoes :) and those shoes will be in stores soon :)

8. You live in New York City, do you have a few shopping tips? 

 Well,right now I'm in Europe again because I wanted to travel more, which
was very hard with my full-time job in New York, I only got 10 days
vacation a year :/ so I quit that job to concentrate on freelancing
and be able to be all over the place :) But as far of shopping...
There is really good vintage, mostly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and in
the east village, In the east village is my fav consignment shop, you
can find there really affordable high end brands like Chloe etc. but
for Europeans its totally worth it and easy to go a weekend shopping
in London!! In London there is of course the TopShop, Urban
Outfitters, loads of vintage too and All Saints!!
What stores should absolutely pay a visit when you get there? in New
York; Tokio7 (consignment shop in the east village) INA (consignment
shop in Nolita) LFstores (Soho) LF stores has really really good
shoes!! 

9. Your blog is called/named coco rosa because... 

hahaha... hmmmm... Before I started my blog I had a chictopia account,
I started to post outfits for the fun of it and when I made the
account I didn't want to use my own name so I just made something up
:) So when I started the blog I decided to keep that name :)
 

10. You are (age).. 

toooooooo old :(

11. Your Birthday wish(es).. 

I would really want camera gear :) new lenses, a tripod etc. and of
course a flight-ticket to travel :) 

12. You inspired ... 

I'm really inspired by other bloggers and look a lot at blogs for inspiration :)
